A Modest Proposal Re Abousfian Abdelrazik

The supposed problem with bringing Abdelrazik back to Canada is that he is on a UN no fly list. However there are ways of getting around the no-fly list. Obama, as you must know, has not abolished the US policy of rendition. This provides Harper with a golden opportunity..
Harper could request that the US render Abdelrazik from the Sudan to Canada. Rendition flights regularly ferry people on no-fly lists around the world, usually to be tortured in countries such as Syria, Egypt, etc. The flights pay no heed to UN rules about people on no-fly lists. Of course we must make sure that there is no stopover in New York because then he might be removed from the plane branded an Al Qaeda agent and sent to Syria as Maher Arar was.
